Mechanical Engineer

You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components specific to the solar sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy in India and work on cutting-edge solar projects.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and optimizing mechanical systems and components for solar energy applications, including solar panels, mounting structures, and tracking systems.
• Conducting feasibility studies and engineering analyses to evaluate the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of solar energy systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components in solar projects.
• Providing technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar energy systems, troubleshooting any mechanical issues that may arise.
• Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in solar engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy or the solar sector preferred.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for 3D modeling and simulation (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform engineering calculations and simulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing solar energy systems in India.
• Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability.
