Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a good background in design, supervision, and preferred experience in tender preparation. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and supervision of MEP systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed MEP designs for various projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial applications.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for tenders, including specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems effectively.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure design compliance and quality control during construction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and design concepts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in MEP design/supervision
• Preferred experience in Fire & Life Safety (FLS) and preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (word, excel, powerpoint, etc).
• Good understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong English language proficiency.
