Your new role, what's involved?
WSP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Material Engineer with 15 years of experience to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising and consulting on road infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.

Your new role, what's involved?
WSP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Material Engineer with 15 years of experience to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising and consulting on road infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee material selection and testing for road and infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop material strategies and provide expert advice on material properties and suitability.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations to assess material performance during construction.
- Prepare and review technical reports, including material test results and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Implement quality control measures and oversee material testing procedures in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and staff regarding material engineering practices.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in material engineering, specifically in road and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience working with supervising consultants on projects involving roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.
- Strong knowledge of material properties, testing methods, and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in technical software and tools related to material engineering.
