WSP in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated Material Engineer to oversee the selection, testing, and quality control of materials used in infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and durability of project materials.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Conduct material testing and analysis to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to select appropriate materials for construction projects.
• Monitor material quality throughout the project lifecycle and address any deviations or issues.
• Develop material procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality materials at competitive prices.
• Implement quality control measures to verify the performance and durability of materials.
• Provide technical guidance on material selection, usage, and maintenance to project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of material testing results, inspections, and certifications.
• Stay updated on emerging materials technologies and industry best practices.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Proven experience of 10+ years in material engineering for infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of material testing procedures and quality control standards.
• Familiarity with local regulations and specifications in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certification in material testing or quality control is a plus.
