Main Responsibilities:
Manage procurement operations effectively while adhering to project timelines and specifications.
- Review assigned Purchase Requisitions to ensure completeness of documentation.
- Conduct market research to evaluate suppliers necessary for project materials.
- Compile bidder lists from approved vendors with necessary approvals.
- Manage inquiries and bid submissions through ARIBA.
- Resolve technical queries during the bidding process.
- Conduct commercial evaluations of vendor bids.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules for cost-effectiveness.
- Draft and submit award recommendations for approval.
- Compile supporting documents for award approval.
- Maintain weekly reports on pending purchase requisitions (PRs).
- Manage purchase orders and address supply chain issues.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and assess their performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent in Supply Chain.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in material procurement for refinery and petrochemical projects.
- CIPS certification.
