Purpose

To develop and execute strategic marketing and communication initiatives that enhance the Hotel’s visibility, with a particular focus on Food & Beverage. This role collaborates closely with the PR Director and other departments to ensure alignment with the Hotel’s business objectives and brand positioning.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Work with the PR Director on generating local awareness; and assist in the development of all in-house marketing initiatives as well as the development and execution of the annual marketing plan.
  • Along with the Dir. of PR & Communications, oversee the hotel’s digital content strategy and manage the Hotel’s F&B social media channels, creating relevant and engaging content and increasing follower engagement.
  • Maintain the Hotel website and ensuring the hotel’s web and App presence are aligned with the Hotel’s positioning and business objectives and where possible link to other FS content channels.
  • Overlook Hotel’s online reputation management. Oversight of online reviews and monitor the competition for deeper market insight.
  • Assist in the development and execution of an annual Food & Beverage Marketing plan, based on guidelines given in the annual plan instructions.
  • Work closely with Rooms, F&B and Spa teams to develop promotional and marketing activities, and calendars to stimulate and capture revenue opportunities. Forge alliances and maintain positive cooperative working relationship with other departments.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
  • Develop relationships with other luxury brands and assess partnership opportunities.
  • Work with graphic designer to develop and/or edit various marketing communications materials, including but not restricted to advertisements, collaterals and direct mailers.
  • Manage relationship with creative agency, assist with marketing briefs and follow up on projects.
  • Uses a strategic approach in overseeing the Hotel’s community relations, CSR & Sustainability initiatives.
  • Assists Director of Marketing with SEO, digital marketing, PPC and e-commerce (as needed), photo and video shoots to ensure messaging and creative is aligned across all activities.
  • Understands Hotel’s marketplace; well-informed of market trends, including evaluating the competition’s marketing communications activity and implements change as dictated by market requirements.
  • Leverage F&B social media channels to amplify key messages and activities, elevating the importance of search as well as strategic and creative communication.
