We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our partners team focused on renewable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.


Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
  • Implement changes to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce waste, with a focus on renewable energy technologies.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality are maintained.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing systems for renewable energy products, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to incorporate manufacturability considerations into product development.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and resolve any production-related issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Analyze production data and implement changes to optimize productivity and reduce defects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
  • Train production personnel on new processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams, to achieve overall project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience with manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, or energy storage systems.
  • Knowledge of sustainable manufacturing practices.
  • Project management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards in the renewable energy industry.
