JOB Title: Manager, Support Services & Logistics

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing all logistics and support service operations for the Islamic Solidarity Games, including material movement, government relations, and visa coordination. This role ensures the timely, efficient, and compliant delivery of goods and services to competition and non-competition venues. By coordinating third-party providers, liaising with government entities, and supervising logistics processes, the Manager plays a key role in ensuring seamless event delivery and operational readiness across all ISG functions.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Logistics Planning & Delivery Oversight

• Develop and implement logistics plans for the movement, storage, and distribution of goods, equipment, and supplies across ISG venues.
• Manage third-party logistics providers, ensuring they meet delivery schedules, service levels, and event safety requirements.
• Coordinate with functional teams to consolidate material needs and align delivery schedules with venue readiness and event milestones.
• Manage logistics performance, identify service gaps, and take corrective action to prevent disruption and maintain efficiency.
  
  

Visa Coordination & Participant Support

• Manage the visa application process for ISG participants, officials, and international guests, ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines.
• Liaise with embassies and consulates to expedite visa approvals, resolve documentation issues, and facilitate communication with key stakeholders.
• Manage participant services and accreditation teams to ensure smooth alignment between visa issuance and Games registration workflows.
  
  

Government Relations & External Liaison

• Coordinate approvals for the import, transport, and clearance of restricted or time-sensitive items required for ISG operations.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities and service providers to address compliance, security, and infrastructure needs in real time.
  
  

Team Management & Process Improvement

• Supervise Assistant Managers and Specialists under Support Services & Logistics, providing direction and support to ensure operational alignment.
• Monitor performance and develop clear workflows to manage visa issuance, logistics scheduling, and government relations across all Games phases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by conducting post-event reviews and implementing refinements to logistics and support systems.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and risk logs that support operational transparency and informed decision-making throughout the event.
