Join us as a Manager, People Consultant for the Middle East -where you'll be the trusted advisor bridging leadership and teams, championing innovation, and providing seamless HR operations as the start before we get into the content.

The Manager, People Consultant for the Middle East is the primary point of contact for People Managers, in addition to managing proactive support to the workforce in the Middle East region as part of the People function. The role will work with the local HR leads in support of building teams that drive BMS's business priorities; building the BMS culture and becoming an employer of choice; supporting engagement and business continuity; and delivering against our People Strategy.

Key Responsibilities And Major Duties

Generalist HR

  • Be a trusted advisor to managers with guidance and support for more complex workforce management and HR policy advice; and
  • Proactively plans and implements strategies to upskill new People Managers and provide support and counsel to experience People Managers when navigating through various HR processes and issues.
  • Use discretion, sound judgement and takes decisions as appropriate, to determine the best method of resolution.
  • Ensure that the workforce and leaders understand People processes.
  • Partner and support business groups to enable the development and implementation of One BMS culture for the sites and across functions..
  • Coordinate and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of global priorities and life cycle processes- working with the PS team, leading and advocating for improvements that enhance the customer experience.
  • Partners with the HRBP, global Centres of Excellence (COE) in the rolling out of global programs and processes to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Monitoring compliance with all applicable BMS policies and seeks appropriate counsel.
  • Have a deep understanding of employment legislation to ensure that processes and policies adhere to the changing legislation and work with COE and PS colleagues when legislation might require some changes to existing processes.
  • Research, problem solve and respond to issues requiring a regional HR perspective/alignment, working closely with PS colleagues, HRBP and COE.
  • Work collaboratively within the HRBP to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key HR processes, across the region.
  • May also lead and get involved in site specific or regional/global People related projects, as required.

HR Operations and Vendor Co-ordination

  • Manage and co-ordinate HR related and government documentation across all the HR processes.
  • Coordinate HR Operations ranging from International Mobility, housing, allowances and other benefits.
  • Help in preparing Housing, Schooling, and home leave allowances, along with any required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance and updated to various government portals and internal HR systems.
  • Execute and administer activities related to benefit plan eligibility, enrollments, status changes, and terminations.
  • Processing of any items required in local language and/or dual language documents
  • Renewal of Mudad, Muqeem, QIWA, Chamber of Commerce, Seha Portals certificates and documents, etc.
  • Research, problem solve and respond on issues related to operational items related benefit programs, objectives and procedures raised by employees, HR and third-party vendors including brokers, insurance providers and regulatory agencies etc

Requirements

  • HR Degree or Equivalent Qualification
  • Minimum of 6 years HR experience, preferably in an international matrixed environment within the Middle East
  • Experience as a junior HR business partner or HR Generalist with strong leadership skills and experience working with multi-functional business teams.
  • Deep experience in managing HR Operational activities
  • Demonstrated success in working effectively with senior management levels to impact and influence decision making.
  • Proven Business & Analytical Acumen along with problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Data literacy, analytics and ability to frame and articulate storytelling based on complex data set.
  • Proven track record in developing employees and managers.
  • Ability to flex across different types of cultures, work, complexities, business situations and matrix partners.
  • Proven experience in performing effectively in a matrix, cross- functional and team environment.
  • Demonstrated use of communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working.
  • Excellent English and written communication skills including the ability to deliver clear and articulate presentations.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities, root cause analyses and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to build networking with various stakeholders, such as employees, HR partners, management groups, business leader, working groups etc.
  • Experience co-ordinating and supporting projects.

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture.
