Job Title

Manager, Marketing & Partnerships

Job Purpose

Manage the development and execution of SOA’s marketing strategies and partnership initiatives to strengthen the brand, expand strategic alliances, and enhance visibility. The role is responsible for designing impactful campaigns, engaging key stakeholders, and driving sponsor collaborations that align with SOA’s long-term goals. The Manager works cross-functionally to ensure all communications and partnerships reflect the organization’s mission and contribute to SOA’s sustainable growth.

Key Accountabilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that promote SOA’s programs, events, and public initiatives.
  • Manage the creation of marketing materials, digital content, and branding assets to ensure consistency and alignment with institutional identity.
  • Track and evaluate campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies based on data insights.

Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships

  • Identify and engage potential partners, sponsors, and stakeholders that align with SOA’s objectives and values.
  • Support the negotiation and formalization of partnership and sponsorship agreements, ensuring clear KPIs and mutual value creation.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with partners to maximize collaboration, visibility, and return on investment.

Event & Outreach

  • Support the planning and promotion of high-profile events, community activations, and joint initiatives with external partners.
  • Collaborate with operations and academic teams to market programs to target audiences, including students, alumni, and the broader sports community.

Brand Management & Communication

  • Manage internal and external brand messaging, ensuring consistency across platforms and touchpoints.
  • Coordinate PR initiatives and media engagement strategies to enhance institutional credibility and public recognition.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and ensure adherence across all communication channels.
