Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opening for the role of Manager Logistics - MBS Stadium. This is an opportunity to become a key player in a landmark project under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, as we build a world-class stadium that will host a wide range of premier events.

As the Manager of Logistics for the MBS Stadium, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of logistics operations, ensuring that all materials are delivered on time and within budget. Your focus will be on optimizing transportation, warehousing, and inventory management specific to this landmark project.

Responsibilities

  • Champions QIC's "Safety First" value, specifically confident in enacting ‘Stop Work' authority, engage in relevant health/safety/wellbeing standards and behaviors
  • Demonstrates positive leadership behaviors, in line with the Qiddiya Values, at all times
  • Manages, coaches and mentors' junior staff to successfully contribute to the department deliverables
  • Works proactively with District/Project Leadership and teams to implement and deliver assets in line with QIC Logistic policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Implements construction logistics strategy and plans in the projects within the role holder's portfolio
  • Supports, when required, site inductions and Induction record keeping
  • Monitors a schedule of logistics meetings in line with Project Execution Plan
  • Plans and monitors program and activities for Logistics services/providers and Supervision Consultants, liaising with commercial team
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of the procurement and commercial processes to support Delivery
  • Ensures method statements, risk assessments and lifting plans are produced by relevant parties and appropriate for the operation, in line with QIC process
  • Ensures the Contractor Produced Plan for roads has the appropriate site signage applied in line with national and corporate standards
  • Ensures all planned works are in line with required Permitting procedures and assists in planning implementation
  • Ensures all equipment is inspected, maintained, and tested to agreed frequencies and maintaining an asset register of all equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project or Construction Management (preferred) Relevant Construction Logistics experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in logistics within construction or large-scale projects
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation operations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a focus on team development and performance enhancement
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Knowledge of the local market / GCC market and regulations relevant to logistics operations in Saudi Arabia is a plus
