Manager - Health & Safety Film Studios (HSE) - SPA 339

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our team, contributing to the development and management of iconic projects within the ambitious Qiddiya cultural BU. This position demands a leader with deep expertise in project management, strategic planning, and innovation within large-scale project environments.

As a Manager, you will be overseeing all health and safety and environmental health aspects to ensure a safe working environment for our film production crew, and Implement effective health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards specific to the film industry in Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies tailored for film production environments, ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia's health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Risk Management - Conduct risk assessments and manage potential health and safety hazards, develop contingency plans for emergencies in film studios and on backlot to film studio activities
• Training and awareness - lead training programmes to educate film crews and inductions for staff about safety protocols and prior to any incoming production in the space
• Organize all health and safety campaigns relating to the Film Studios and workshops required to foster a culture of health and safety Incident Management, investigate and report all incidents in a timely manner to the Senior Director of Operations for Film Studios along with any health issues and medical issues and implement and communicate corrective measures to prevent recurrence
• Monitoring and reporting, monitor all compliance through inspections and audits of the Film Studios and warehouses including backlot area
• Prepare detailed reports and keep accurate records of safety inspections and incidents
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, and Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Health & Safety ideally in MENA and in a TV & Film Studio Environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with project management tools and software is highly desirable
• Experience HSE in the Film Studio Environment, and entertainment, or related field
