Manager - Group Accounting

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of transforming the entertainment and tourism landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the position of Manager - Group Accounting. This pivotal role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance across our diverse business units.

As the Manager of Group Accounting, you will take the lead in overseeing the consolidation of financial statements, enforcing stringent accounting policies, and driving best practices in financial management. Your contributions will play a critical role in shaping financial strategies and facilitating informed decision-making among our leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the consolidation of financial reports from various group entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust accounting policies and procedures that reflect industry best practices
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, providing essential analytical insights
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial data to identify inconsistencies, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring that all queries are addressed and resolved efficiently
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Lead and mentor the group accounting team, encouraging professional growth and continuous improvement
• Stay updated with developments in accounting regulations and adapt internal practices accordingly
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is highly preferable
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in group accounting, with a proven track record in a managerial capacity
• Strong expertise in IFRS principles and comprehensive knowledge of accounting practices
• Demonstrated experience in managing financial reporting and consolidation processes effectively
• Excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to foster teamwork and drive results
