Working Conditions:
2 year Fixed Term Contract - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
What You'll Do:
Responsible for the quarterly and annual financial planning and analysis for productions in KSA.
Line management, support and development of two finance staff. Work with the team on a daily basis to drive accurate, complete, and timely cost reporting.
Liaise with Production, Legal, Sales and Finance colleagues to ensure that all relevant information is obtained to enable accurate revenue, expense, and cash forecasts to be produced for each project in line with contractual terms and revenue recognition policies.
Responsible for producing a monthly cash flow forecast for the above mentioned projects.
Responsible for month end accounting closes and identifying and explaining variances from forecasts.
Liaising with production teams, finance and AR teams to ensure invoices are raised and payments received in line with contractual terms.
Advising and assisting production staff on financial procedures and dealing with all financial matters relating to the productions.
Liaising with Corporate Accounting and Treasury on related matters.
Ensuring appropriate financial governance and control is in place and is being adhered to.
Liaise with external audit teams as required.
Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc
Must be prepared to work additional hours as required to meet deadlines
You Have These:
Mandatory
Qualified Accountant ACA / ACMA / ACCA or equivalent
Good Excel skills
Experience of financial planning and analysis - working with both finance and non-finance staff
Monthly management of accounts
Closing books each month
Review budget vs variance analysis
Understanding of the functions of other Finance departments, e.g., Treasury, Tax, AP and AR
Confident and flexible team player
Must be able to determine priorities and organise work to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work on own initiative to identify problem areas and work through to a satisfactory conclusion
Desirable
Experience of working in a Media related environment
Experience in using SAP accounting system and other budgeting / forecasting systems
A knowledge of Sport and Television production
