In this role, you will formulate and enforce compliance policies, oversee data audits, and engage with multiple departments to foster an organizational culture committed to data integrity and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive data compliance strategies that comply with relevant laws and regulations
• Conduct detailed assessments of data management practices, identifying areas of risk and recommending improvements
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Business Line leaders to integrate compliance measures into company processes
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external legal requirements to mitigate risks associated with data handling
• Facilitate training and awareness programs to educate employees on data compliance issues and best practices
• Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits and ensure timely responses to compliance requests
• Stay informed on changes in data compliance legislation and adjust company policies accordingly
• Analyze impacts of regulatory changes on Qiddiya's data management practices and take proactive measures to ensure compliance
• Represent Qiddiya in interactions with regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution of any compliance issues
• Implement data governance frameworks, focusing on ethical data use and risk mitigation
• Advocate for robust data compliance across the organization, promoting a culture of responsibility and respect for data privacy
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Law, Business Administration, or similar fields desirable
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in data compliance or related areas
• Understanding of global data protection regulations and privacy laws, including GDPR, HIPAA, etc
• Demonstrated experience in audit management and compliance monitoring
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing stakeholders
• Relevant certifications in data compliance or information security (e.g., CIPP/US, CISM, ISO 27001) are an advantage
