Job Purpose: You will oversee the full broadcast and distribution operations pipeline for the Esports World Cup (EWC) and Esports Nations Cup (ENC) - from production handoff to multi-platform delivery. You will manage end-to-end media workflows, ensuring that all broadcast and distribution operations run efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with global quality standards. This is a strategic and people-facing role that will lead coordination across teams, manage partner servicing, and supervise a large external team during live events. You will act as a central connector between production, broadcast, engineering, and media partners - driving excellence in live delivery, workflow optimization, and partner experience.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead the full broadcast and distribution operations pipeline — overseeing media partner servicing, quality control, executing on strategic initiatives around media, and coordinating between different teams on content.
• Manage the transition of content from production to multi-platform distribution, ensuring smooth handoff and accurate delivery.
• Strategically coordinate broadcast, streaming operations, partner management, costreaming operations, and distribution activities across EWC and ENC events.
• Oversee live operations servicing (including EFG and media partners) before and during events, ensuring all distribution and streaming needs are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for broadcast and distribution logistics during event execution.
• Collaborate closely with broadcast, production, engineering, and master control teams to ensure seamless media flow and real-time issue resolution.
• Supervise, coach, and coordinate a team of 6–10 operations staff during major live events.
• Evolve existing workflows — moving from reactive problem-solving to proactive process design and optimization.
• Oversee setup and monitoring of distribution infrastructure, ensuring reliability, quality, and redundancy.
• Develop operational documentation and SOPs for media management, live distribution, and content delivery.
• Maintain close collaboration with the Distribution and Media Platform teams to align delivery systems, metadata, and partner feeds.
• Implement quality control processes to guarantee compliance with technical, creative, and platform-specific standards.
• Manage partner requests for content access, deliverables, or custom feeds in coordination with internal teams.
• Support budgeting and resource planning for broadcast and distribution operations.
• Analyze post-event operations, identify process improvements, and propose strategic recommendations for future events.
• Ensure all operations comply with data security, rights management, and content usage guidelines.
  
  
  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in broadcast operations, media production, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in broadcast operations, media management, or distribution within esports, sports, or entertainment industries.
  
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven success leading live broadcast or distribution operations across multiple platforms.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end broadcast workflows, including ingest, QC, encoding, and delivery.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with technical, creative, and vendor stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, especially in high-pressure live event environments.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Experience working with global media partners and large-scale esports or live event broadcasts.
• Familiarity with broadcast automation tools, playout systems, and delivery networks.
• Knowledge of localization and versioning workflows for multi-region content delivery.
