Job Purpose
The Accreditation Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and executing all accreditation operations for athletes, officials, media, volunteers, and stakeholders participating in Olympic and national sporting events. The role ensures full compliance with International Olympic Committee (IOC) standards and national security requirements, while delivering a secure, efficient, and professional accreditation process that enhances the overall event experience and upholds the reputation of the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

Accreditation Strategy & Planning
The Accreditation Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and executing all accreditation operations for athletes, officials, media, volunteers, and stakeholders participating in Olympic and national sporting events. The role ensures full compliance with International Olympic Committee (IOC) standards and national security requirements, while delivering a secure, efficient, and professional accreditation process that enhances the overall event experience and upholds the reputation of the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

Accreditation Strategy & Planning
- Design, implement, and oversee the accreditation strategy, matrix, and operational plans for all major sporting events hosted by SOPC.
- Ensure accreditation operations are aligned with IOC regulations, international best practices, and national security requirements.
- Define accreditation policies, workflows, and service-level standards to guarantee consistency and efficiency across events.
- Manage the end-to-end accreditation system, including data collection, validation, issuance, and distribution of accreditation passes.
- Design and update accreditation venue zoning plans in collaboration with security, operations, and venue management teams.
- Supervise the setup and operation of accreditation centers, ensuring smooth and professional service delivery.
- Monitor daily accreditation activities during events, resolving operational challenges in real-time.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the IOC, international and national federations, organizing committees, and government security agencies regarding accreditation matters.
- Coordinate across internal departments (e.g., Security, Venues, NOC Services, Volunteers) to ensure integrated accreditation processes.
- Facilitate effective communication with athletes, officials, media, and volunteers to ensure understanding of accreditation procedures and requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to accreditation operations, including unauthorized access, data security breaches, or process inefficiencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with IOC standards, national laws, and event-specific security protocols.
- Maintain a robust exception-handling process for special accreditation cases in line with governance and security requirements.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers involved in accreditation operations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure high service standards.
- Develop and implement training modules covering accreditation procedures, customer service, and data security.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates to leadership on accreditation progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Produce comprehensive post-event reports including analysis, lessons learned, and recommendations for future events.
- Implement process improvements and technology upgrades to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and security of accreditation operations.
- Maintain accurate accreditation databases, ensuring all information is validated and up to date.
- Safeguard confidential information with the highest levels of data security and integrity.
- Develop protocols for data retention, system archiving, and compliance with information governance requirements.
