Role Overview

Audit Responsibilities

  • Conduct business assurance assessments within your area of specialization, following LRQA procedures and agreed timelines.
  • Lead assessment teams, ensuring visits are completed on schedule and findings are consolidated into clear conclusions.
  • Produce high-quality assessment reports that meet accreditation requirements and internal standards.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed of changes, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Identify and share opportunities, sales leads, and client feedback with relevant colleagues.
  • Maintain professional competence through continuous learning, CPD records, and updated professional registrations.
  • Build strong client relationships and actively contribute to Assessor meetings.

Verification Responsibilities

  • Manage verification projects end-to-end, from kick-off to delivery of final reports and statements.
  • Engage directly with clients, clearly communicating data requests, findings, and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with LRQA’s internal standards and the reporting criteria required for verification.
  • Lead verifications for diverse clients across global facilities, with travel primarily within MEA and occasional international assignments.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience conducting certification audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 with an IAF-recognized Certification Body.
  • Strong knowledge of greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability data reporting schemes.
  • Completed ISO 14064-1 & 2 training courses.
  • Proven experience supporting GHG verification projects with an IAF-recognized Certification Body.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional presentation, and strong IT proficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to represent LRQA with authority and credibility at senior industry levels.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

  • Native Arabic speaker.
  • Experience in the oil & gas sector.
  • Data analytics expertise using Excel or equivalent tool
