Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems as needed.
• Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and functionality of the manufacturing facility, including equipment rooms, production areas, and common spaces.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, and HVAC system checks.
• Monitor building systems and utilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions to minimize production disruptions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with production operators and other team members to identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Conduct safety inspections and address any safety hazards or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields is preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
