Mission
Key Responsibilities
1. Provides leadership and oversight for overhaul maintenance of the following subsystems: rolling stock, guideway, power supply, ATC, PSDs, SCADA, OCC, cable network, anti-intrusion system (ACID), communications including radio, intercom, passenger information (PIS), passenger announcement (PA), CCTV, AFC, depot equipment
2. Leads the writing and implementation of maintenance overhaul procedures and manuals and participates in the safety case
3. Responsible for hiring, training and assessing maintenance staff, managing ongoing personnel training and development efforts to maintain current standards of maintenance and performance
4. Responsible for the health and safety of maintenance workers, including subcontractors
5. Responsible for the safety of maintenance activities
6. Defines the annual maintenance overhaul plan and budget accordingly
7. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Hazard Log and the Principal Risk register through the identification and effective mitigation of hazards relating to maintenance
Profile
Heads the Maintenance Overhaul TeamThe position includes achievement of contractual and internal targets for safety, maintenance overhaulactivities, supervision of maintenance subcontractors, environmental management, human resourcemanagement, financial targets.Responsible for managing the maintenance overhaul budget, and managing the overhaul maintenance performed by the maintenance overhaul employees and subcontracted maintenance activities

Qualifications
a) Pre-employment
- Master Degree in Engineering/Maintenance
Knowledge and Skills
- Preferred knowledge of maintenance overhaul procedures relating to train driverless maintenance;
- Fluency in English;
- Is able to manage a team and identify training needs proactively;
- Should be able to identify priorities, make decisions, and manage resources in both normal and urgent situations;
- Able to anticipate, analyse, identify, and resolve problems effectively;
- Able to remain calm and objective particularly during challenging situations;
- High capacity for technical diagnosis and analysis;
- Strong sense of customer service;
- Develops cooperative relationships with both internal and external actors and is a highly competent oral and written communicator;
- Able to anticipate and react to situations;
- Has strong oral and written communication skills; and
- Capable of giving precise, clear and concise instructions remotely.
Experience
Should have previous experience of managing team effectively;
At least 15 year's proven track records of maintenance in the rail industry with similar management experience; and
