As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work with global, cross disciplinary teams to apply model-based design, analytical verification tools and methods to lead component and product reliability projects for material logistic systems. And to determine and advise on maintenance demands and translate maintenance concepts into effective maintenance plans and standard operating procedures

Job Summary
Vanderlande is responsible for the Service & Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System at different Airports. We are currently seeking a maintenance Engineer to join our team. And to determine and advise on maintenance demands and translate maintenance concepts into effective maintenance plans and standard operating procedures
Essential Functions (Job Duties And Responsibilities)
- Translates maintenance concepts into executable and effective maintenance plans.
- Prepares and implements maintenance plans in our Maximo maintenance management system, including asset tree, inventory management, performance dashboards, reports, etc.
- Uses and develops analysis methods for determining maintenance demands for components, equipment, and systems. Acquires maintenance data and analyses the data to optimize maintenance plans.
- Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for avoiding maintenance delays and to reduce operational impacts.
- Makes recommendations for improvements of the assets.
- Develops, implements, and trains standard operating procedures.
- Conducts an analysis and advice on maintainability for modified or new systems and support maintenance planners and technicians in execution of maintenance plans.
- Identifies, evaluates, and analyze structural problems to optimize maintenance plans and processes during contract period by analyzing the maintenance performance and adjust the planning accordingly
- Develops standard operating procedure and training for maintenance execution.
- Draws up improvement plans and lead the execution
- Participates as maintenance specialist in criticality analyses (RI, FMECA, Process Hazard Analyses, etc.)
- Manages and helps less experienced colleagues as a senior specialist. Provides senior technical support to maintenance technicians and train site-based peers.
- Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical/Electro-mechanical Field.
- Minimum 5 years technical experienced in an industrial environment.
- Working experience with mechanical, electrical and controls (PLC, PC) systems is a must.
- Able to lead multi-disciplinary teams for developing maintenance plans.
- Knowledge of and experience with IBM Maximo or equivalent CMM
- Excellent reporting, presentation, verbal, and oral communication skills in English and Arabic languages.
- Minimum of 3 years Material Handling Experience
- Minimum of 3 years CMMS Experience preferred
