Working as a core member of our team in Saudi Arabia, you will investigate maritime insurance claims and work with our clients and underwriters to provide adjustments and recommendations.

This position will be based at our office in Al-Khobar. We can also base this position in Jeddah or Riyadh. You must have the right to live and work in Saudi Arabia.

Working as a core member of our team in Saudi Arabia, you will investigate maritime insurance claims and work with our clients and underwriters to provide adjustments and recommendations.
What will you be doing?
- Investigate maritime insurance claims involving vessel damage, machinery failures, acts of good, cargo losses, or other technical issues.
- Interpret marine insurance policies to help determine the responsibility for claims.
- Analyse technical reports from surveyors and prepare detailed loss assessment reports.
- Quantify damages and calculate settlement offers with clients, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate all settlement offers and ensure alignment with ABL Group’s policies.
- Collaborate with technical experts, surveyors, and legal professionals as required.
- Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with insurance standards, adjusting practices, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Keep up to date with maritime industry developments, technical standards, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims, inspections, and correspondence.
Ideally, You Will Have a Background In Loss Adjusting Or Claiming Handling With Experience Of Working On Maritime Claims. A Background In Maritime Law Is Beneficial. More Specifically, We Are Looking For The Following
- A loss adjusting certification.
- 1 - 5 years’ experience of handling marine, cargo, hull & machinery, or inland marine claims.
- Knowledge of maritime technical systems, machinery, and vessel operations.
- Experience with claim management software and MS Office Suite.
This position will be based at our office in Al-Khobar. We can also base this position in Jeddah or Riyadh. You must have the right to live and work in Saudi Arabia.
