- Bachelor’s Degree, a Certificate in Supply Chain, or an equivalent qualification.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Very good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Good knowledge of operating heavy equipment.
- Possess leadership skills to effectively lead teams.
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
- Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with minimal delay.
- Receive products and coordinate their delivery.
- Prepare loads for shipment.
- Take steps to avoid quality control issues.
- Ensure warehouse capacity is maintained at optimal levels.
- Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to meet established deadlines.
- Oversee the inventory of goods and vehicles.
- Continuously review freight costs, transportation rates, and raw material prices to minimize expenses.
- Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
- Manage heavy equipment and ensure its proper operation.
- Oversee material and manpower supply to the site.
- Ensure security at storage facilities and sites.
- Handle rental equipment contracts.
- Manage accommodation arrangements for staff and laborers.
- Oversee contracts related to raw materials.
