Weatherford, a leading organization in the Oil & Energy industry, is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of shipments in and out of the country, maintaining proper documentation, and archiving all shipment information and paperwork on the shared drive. Your expertise in logistics operations will play a pivotal role in supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inbound and outbound shipment trackers, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest tracking information.
• Follow up with Freight Forwarders & Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearance of all shipments.
• Review shipping documents for inbound shipments and provide approval for shippers.
• Advise on suitable modes of transportation by considering weight, dimensions, and shipment requirements.
• Obtain approval from consignees before moving any outbound shipments.
• Prepare legal and necessary documents for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Generate commercial invoices for outgoing shipments.
• Seek competitive freight quotes.
• Comply with all applicable Weatherford policies, maintain punctuality, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Maintain accurate logistics reports, including data and savings analysis.
• Promptly report any ambiguities or non-conformances.
  
  

Skills

• Thorough understanding of logistics functions.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Good in Microsoft office
• Familiarity with customs procedures (preferred).
  
  

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Relevant logistics or supply chain certifications are an advantage.
