- Manage the interaction with all sourcing sites for all logistics activities and products movements and storage to optimize the utilization of resources and maximize the efficiency.
- Supervise the team operational activities and allocate the workload tasks across the team members.
- Deliver optimized customer service (OTIF), product availability (OOS) and cost-to-serve (CTS) by supporting projects / programs sponsored by the in-country CS& L Manager and aligned with the Regional Warehouse & Distribution strategy.
- Manage day to day operations such as distribution, import from all GSK / 3rd Party Manufacturing Sites to distributors.
- Act as a point of contact to Commercial/customers/distributors/LSPs for current inventory availability, physical inventory/batch status, and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Commercial teams to minimize stock shortage and collaborate with Supply and Demand teams to support inventory optimization processes (Appropriate safety stock level, low shelf life, write off…)
- Work in full adherence with local governmental regulations and maintain excellent relationship with local authorities.
- Ensure quality and compliance within warehouse and distribution in line with Haleon policies (QA, QMS and EHS standards), regional legislation and industry best practice.
- Support tracking of spend versus budgets in line with Warehouse and Distribution P&L and deliver on Cost to Serve initiatives.
- Manage and oversee the implementation and reporting of the T&T as per the local regulations.
- Support the reporting and improvement initiative for the customer OTIF.
- Manage the CS&L KPIs reporting and performance monitoring for continues improvement.
- Regular interactions (internal and external relationships) with distributors and relevant local authorities (eg. Customs).
- To manage the day-to-day relationships with Logistics Service Providers (Warehouse/ Manufacturing site /Transport/Customs brokers) to agreed/contractual performance levels.
- Customer & Logistics Manager will support number of projects to ensure effective management of day-to-day operations, inventory management and change implementation in line with Haleon strategy.
Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain / Logistics / Customer Service Role
- Education: Minimum a university degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Mgmt. or Engineering
- Only Saudi National to interact with all governmental authorities (Customs, Ports, SFDA)
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain management principles, ERP, WMS.
- Experience in Supervising/managing team performance and workload allocations.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to distribute workloads and supervise team performance.
Preferred
- Experience within a customer-facing team to provide excellent levels of Customer Service
- Strong planning ability and able to work on own initiative.
