Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Logistics Officer to manage and oversee import and export activities in compliance with Saudi regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth customs clearance, vendor coordination, and shipment tracking across air and sea freight. This role requires strong negotiation, documentation, and communication skills to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Logistics Officer to manage and oversee import and export activities in compliance with Saudi regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth customs clearance, vendor coordination, and shipment tracking across air and sea freight. This role requires strong negotiation, documentation, and communication skills to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage import and export activities in compliance with Saudi regulations.
- Ensure adherence to requirements such as Saber, IECEE, and customs clearance procedures.
- Apply thorough knowledge of INCOTERMS and related procedures.
- Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with vendors and shipping lines.
- Handle documentation for import shipments in line with KSA laws and regulations.
- Track and monitor all shipments (air and sea) to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with major shipping lines and stakeholders.
- Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines.
- Adapt to various work circumstances and handle challenges efficiently.
