About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Director/Head of Legal to lead and scale the legal team, driving strategic legal initiatives to support the organisation's rapid growth.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the Executive team and report to the Group CFO.
- Lead and manage the Legal Department, including mentoring and supervising a team of at least two legal professionals.
- Oversee all legal matters including commercial contracts, employment law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including SaaS contracts, licensing, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi laws and regulations, including labor, commercial, and data protection laws.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel as needed.
- Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and contract management systems.
- Support corporate structuring, M&A, and investment activities.
- Maintain and update legal documentation and company records.
- Bachelor's degree in law; Master’s or legal certification is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of total legal experience, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience leading a Legal team of 2 or more
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi legal and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in technology, Software or SaaS sectors.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS contracts and licensing models is a strong plus
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
