Lead Specialist, IT Application & Data Architecture II

Job Purpose

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for coordination and control of design activities as part of the Application Architecture Management in line with established policies and standard operating procedures. Also responsible to ensure harmonization and standardization of technology landscape by capitalizing on existing investments to reduce cost and complexity and build strategic roadmaps to meet existing and upcoming business needs. This includes a continuous outlook at evolving market capabilities and matching them with internal opportunities. Also responsible to applications design which include implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing ones.

Core Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Contributes to the development of the correct enterprise architecture for Ma’aden
• Contribute to the development of a clear data modelling strategy for Ma’aden
• Contribute to the development of the architecture policies and principles for Ma’aden
• Provide inputs on the development of the future application/data and architecture strategies
• Provide inputs on the development of the application/data architecture policies and principles for Ma’aden
• Contribute to the Architecture Management activities for coordination and control of design activities such as identifying activities required to deliver service, defining application architecture, data / information/ integration architecture, security architecture, roles and responsibilities, planning for deployment and implementation and producing Service Design Package (SDP) for new or changed services in coordination with the Manager: Application Architecture
• Contribute to the preparation of Application/Data Architecture related reports for the management, auditors, etc. as per the directions of the Director, IT Strategies & Architecture or Manager, IT Strategy & Architecture.
• Perform any additional responsibilities passed on by Director, IT Strategies & Architecture or Manager, IT Strategy & Architecture.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor level degree in ICT or computer Engineering from an internationally recognized institution

TOGAF/CDMP certifications or similar,

Minimum Experience

Min 6 years of experience in Application & Data Architecture areas
