Job Description

Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Specialist - Architect to join our team!

In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting architectural fit-out reviews and supervision
• Developing design concepts and design criteria
• Preparing related reports.
• Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, and construction documents prepared by Architectural Designers.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Writes construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
• Interfaces with suppliers as required.
• Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at the project site.
• Reviews, approves, and issues fit-out detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
• Provides the seal and signature of a professional architect when required by statute or contract.
• Provides technical guidance to architectural/engineering workers on the same project.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (or related field)
• 8+ years related hotel fit-out architecture/engineering experience or a broad general engineering background
• Licenses and Certifications
• Professional registration may also be required.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communication skills, and familiarity with industry practices and regulations are required. Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on the project.
