As a Lead Service Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to customers in the energy industry, specifically related to our products and services. You will work closely with our sales and service teams to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

How you’ll make an impact?
- Provide technical support and expertise to customers in the energy industry, specifically related to Siemens Energy solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Siemens Energy solutions and services.
- Work closely with sales and service teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs and exceed their expectations.
- Provide training to customers on Siemens Energy solutions and services, as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to Siemens Energy.
- Lead technical projects and initiatives to improve product and service quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Analyze and report on customer feedback and product performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Siemens PLC, ESD, and SCADA design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- TUV certification and proven experience as a lead or senior Automation Engineer.
- Hands-on expertise in PCS7, ESD, Fire Alarm Systems, and system virtualization, including domain server configurations.
- Proficient in Siemens fail-safe systems, including Safety Matrix, H-System CPUs, and logic Matrix, as well as Modbus (TCP/IP and Serial), DNP3, and OPC interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of PCS7 telecontrol, DBA configuration, and on-site troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience in Siemens Control Servers configuration, including server-client architecture, cybersecurity implementation, and system hardening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
