  • Execute Safety System project as a Safety System Lead Engineer.
  • Ensure compliance to YMA Functional Safety Management (FSM) procedures. Basic understanding of IEC 61511 concepts.
  • Design and review of system architecture based on Yokogawa product line.
  • Review customer standards, project specification, sales proposal and identify the gaps.
  • Review of customer design inputs and raising clarifications (RFI) to customer.
  • Prepare of project Document Register, Procurement Register, Execution Plan, FSM Plan etc.
  • Preparation or review of basic and detail design documents including but not limited to Functional Design specification, Bill of Materials, Cabinet Drawings, System Architecture, Cable Schedules, Power and HVAC calculations etc.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure quality deliverables and meet YMA QMS requirements.
  • Prepare Safety Validation Plan including SIL verification / validation calculations using in-house tools.
  • Preparation of Software Typicals and Application Logic Generation based on design inputs and internal guidelines.
  • Liaison with customer engineers for technical issues and resolution.
  • Identify Identifying scope deviation and additional scope and notifying the same to Project Lead Engineer or Project Manager (Change Management).
  • Project procurement including RFQ, Technical Evaluation and purchase order issuance.
  • Coordination with Document Controller for Control of Project documentation and QC Engineer for Inspection and Testing related activities.
  • Conduct project testing including Cabinet Inspection, Loop Testing, Function Test and application Logic Test
  • Design standardization meeting safety system and project requirements.
  • Technical review of assigned project
Qualification and Experience
  • A Degree in Engineering Field, Preferably in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical.
  • Experience with Yokogawa ProSafe-RS Safety System or other Safety PLC Vendor as Project Hardware or Software Engineer.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of Instrumentation and Control and Safety Systems.
  • Mandatory experience in preparing project Basic and Detailed Design Documents.
  • Experience with handling Mega Projects and team of SIS Engineers.
  • TUV Functional Safety Engineer Certification (Preferable)

  • FEED (Front End Engineering Design) experience of projects.
Skills
  • Expert understanding and experience with Safety Instrumented Systems.
  • Expert understanding and experience with ICSS project execution workflow
  • Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Applications.
  • Conflict resolution.
