WSP is looking for a Lead QA/QC Engineer with construction supervision experience for an Entertainment and Tourism Mega Project based in the Southwest of Riyadh.

WSP is looking for a Lead QA/QC Engineer with construction supervision experience for an Entertainment and Tourism Mega Project based in the Southwest of Riyadh.
Your new role, what's involved?
- Lead and manage a team of quality engineers to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement QA/QC strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA/QC processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define quality objectives and deliverables.
- Develop QA/QC plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Coordinate with various teams to integrate quality requirements into project plans and workflows.
- Plan and conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and address non-conformities, defects, and discrepancies through systematic analysis and corrective actions.
- Document inspection findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for future reference and improvement.
- Oversee the planning and execution of testing activities to validate product performance and functionality.
- Review test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure comprehensive test coverage and accuracy.
- Analyze test data and reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Identify potential risks and quality issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement risk mitigation measures and contingency plans.
- Monitor risk factors throughout the project and take proactive measures to minimize their impact on quality and delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QA/QC team and across the project organization.
- Encourage innovation and creativity in quality assurance processes, tools, and techniques.
- Regularly review performance metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, regarding quality-related matters.
- Provide regular updates on QA/QC activities, progress, and outcomes to project leadership and key stakeholders.
- Address stakeholder concerns and inquiries regarding quality assurance and quality control with professionalism and transparency.
- Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development within the QA/QC team.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and knowledge sharing activities to enhance team members' competencies.
- Encourage professional growth and certification attainment among team members to support career advancement and organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to QA/QC activities, including reports, records, and quality documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive quality assurance reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Ensure adherence to document control procedures and standards to facilitate traceability and auditability.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control roles within the construction, engineering, or supervision industry.
- ISO 9001 Certification.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory position, managing teams of quality engineers or inspectors.
