Job Purpose

Responsible for monitoring, reporting, assessing, analyzing and enhancing EHSS performance site-wide, and ensuring compliance with all applicable EHSS regulations, which Ma’aden subscribes to.

Key Accountabilities

Prepare all EHSS performance reports, which include but not limited to: Weekly EHSS Dashboard, Monthly EHSS Statistics, EHSS Assessments Reports, ...etc.

Continuously assess and analyze site EHSS performance to identify weaknesses and areas of improvement, and work with all MSHEMS SMEs and sites leadership to ensure that the identified gaps are addressed and the associated risks are mitigated.

Administrate and assure the effective implementation of processes and activities, which will ensure compliance with all EHSS Management System requirements site-wide, and regularly assess Ma’aden compliance to the applicable EHSS Regulations, Responsible Care, and ensure abidance.

Assess the learning from site EHSS field visits, EHSS assessments, Life Saving Rules (LSR) violations, EHSS incidents, EHSS observations, …etc, and communicate the identified learnings to concerned leader for further evaluation, development of the required action plan, sharing with the relevant stakeholders and tracking the progress.

Assume the role of the company EHSS meetings secretary and coordinate all associated activities (e.g. agenda development, actions tracking, update packages readiness, issue and maintain MOM…etc.)

Identification of EHSS best practices via establishing internal and external networking, and ensuring their institution to Ma’aden EHSS processes, and assuring compliance among all Ma’aden BUs.

Perform semi-annual and annual EHSS incidents analysis and share it with concerned leader for further evaluation, development of the required action plan, sharing with the relevant stakeholders and tracking the progress.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience And Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  
  

Minimum Experience

• 8 Years of related experience with at least 2 years in EHSS audit and Assurance functions.
• Strong knowledge of local and International EHSS regulations (SAF, OSHA,..etc.)
