LEAD ENGINEER, DESIGN ELECTRICAL (HVDC)

· Prepare Electrical design meeting quality and schedule requirements.

· Participating in various stages of HVDC project lifecycles, such as feasibility studies, design, construction and commissioning.

· Performing technical tasks like designing HVDC substations, preparing technical specifications for equipment procurement,

· Providing technical expertise during bid proposals, client meetings, and design reviews

· Adhere to established design guidelines and procedures.

· Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions.

· Perform design analysis and calculations according to project requirements.

· Determine construction cost and material estimates based on the designs.

· Review project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints.

· Use latest software and technologies to develop effective designs.

· Maintain accurate design files for reference purposes.

· Consider health, safety and environmental requirements when developing the designs.

· Manage design projects within allotted timelines and MHs.

· Stay abreast with the latest developments with relevant design fields.

· Ensure compliance with QMS requirements.

· Provide assistance to senior design team members.
