Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will oversee the execution of landscape construction works across assigned infrastructure and housing projects under the EPMO framework. This role ensures compliance with approved designs, specifications, and project schedules while enforcing quality and safety standards. The candidate will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and ministry stakeholders to resolve site-related issues and support performance monitoring and reporting as part of EPMO governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor landscape construction activities, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation, street furniture, and external works.
• Verify that execution aligns with approved IFC drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents.
• Review and provide technical input on shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to landscaping.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Report progress, deviations, and issues to the Construction Section Manager and coordinate with the Planning & Reporting unit.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical and constructability challenges on-site.
• Ensure that approved construction schedules are adhered to and that mitigation plans are activated when delays occur.
• Support the EPMO in collecting site performance data for dashboards, KPIs, and monthly progress reports.
• Follow up on the implementation of punch lists, final acceptance inspections, and project close-out procedures related to landscaping.
• Participate in the review of change orders and claims related to landscape works.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives related to landscape construction delivery.
  
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years in landscape construction supervision.
• Prior experience in governmental or EPMO/PMC infrastructure projects preferred.
  
  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of landscape construction standards, materials, and methods.
• Familiar with irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and sustainable landscape design implementation.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract clauses.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and construction management tools
• Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
• Familiarity with EPMO frameworks, project governance, and compliance requirements.
