Job Description

WSP is seeking a qualified Land Surveyor to join our supervision team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring, checking, and verifying survey works related to roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels on a major infrastructure program. This role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality of construction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day site supervision of survey activities on roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.
  • Verify survey data, measurements, levels, and alignments submitted by the contractor.
  • Check the accuracy of setting out, benchmarks, and reference points as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor the contractor’s survey teams and ensure all works comply with design, contract requirements, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain survey records, site sketches, and documentation for approval.
  • Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and design teams to resolve discrepancies or technical issues.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained during survey operations.
  • Support the Resident Engineer and senior supervision staff in delivering project milestones.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in land surveying with at least 5 years in consultant supervision roles.
  • Proven experience in roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of survey instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level) and relevant software.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Previous experience working with international consultants in large infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
