Logistics team is responsible for processes and procedures related to Baker Hughes' shipping logistics and customs across borders. We manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.

You will lead by performing tasks related to support for supply chain management. You will join a global team for logistics and warehouse management. You will work alongside with some of the brightest manufacturing minds in the world.
As a Logistics Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing supplier strategic relationships.
- Developing and lead end-to-end logistics solutions (including distribution centers) to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods.
- Managing logistics Costs and negotiations if necessary to meet budgets and Operations Plans.
- Contributing towards making important decisions with business relevance or supporting business in making decisions by understanding broader cross-functional implications.
- Ability to communicate high-level concepts to senior leadership. Frequent use of coaching and development of subordinates.
- Delivering specialized professional work delivered by single-layered teams or professional work delivered by multi-layered teams. Handles complex professional work in the department, Cases are unique and sometimes without precedent; employees are expected to develop new approaches. Knowledge management is important.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a minimum of 10 additional years of experience in Logistics.
- Demonstrate history of engagement with various tiers of service providers in the transportation industry
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have an MBA (preferred) Have a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred) Have a Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) (preferred)
- Demonstrate significant experience in Logistics, Transportation or Business
- Can build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees. Excellent communication skills.
