Job Description

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on kitchen and laundry equipment, including but not limited to ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and steamers.
• Inspect and diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, and operated kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Replace or repair faulty parts, such as motors, heating elements, bearings, and belts.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and service reports.
  
  

Operational Efficiency & Safety Compliance

• Ensure that all kitchen and laundry equipment operates efficiently and safely in compliance with Accor and local safety regulations.
• Conduct routine checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure proactive maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and procurement of spare parts.
• Follow Accor’s energy conservation policies by optimizing equipment performance.
  
  

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work closely with the kitchen and housekeeping teams to minimize disruptions during operations.
• Assist in training operational staff on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Support engineering department colleagues in multi-skilled tasks when required.
  
  

Emergency & Breakdown Support

• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure immediate corrective actions.
• Maintain a stock of essential spare parts to reduce downtime.
• Participate in after-hours on-call duty as required.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment brands (Rational, Electrolux, Hobart, etc.).
• Understanding of electrical wiring, and HVAC systems related to kitchen and laundry operations.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in hotel engineering maintenance.
