- Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in line with project requirements and industry standards.
- Review and validate mechanical drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings for compliance with specifications and project timelines.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Supervise site activities, ensuring that mechanical works are executed according to approved drawings and safety standards.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage procurement activities, including the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities), evaluation of vendor offers, and material approvals.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide timely engineering solutions.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience in MEP contracting, specifically in mechanical system design and execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Building Information Management (BIM) tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of mechanical codes, regulations, and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
- Ability to lead teams, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and manage site challenges independently.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work on-site with flexibility for project-based travel if required.
