Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to all hotel departments, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of IT systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, network systems, and servers in compliance with IHG brand standards.
• Monitor and maintain hotel network security, firewalls, backups, and antivirus systems.
• Respond promptly to IT service requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage and support hotel-specific systems including PMS, POS, back-office, and telephone systems.
• Coordinate with IHG corporate IT and vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain an updated inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
• Ensure data backup processes are in place and regularly tested.
• Train hotel team members on proper use of IT systems and cybersecurity best practices.
• Maintain compliance with IHG IT policies, GDPR, and local data protection laws.
• Provide technical support for events, conferences, and guest internet access.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), Windows Server, and Office 365.
• Experience with hotel systems (Opera PMS, Micros POS, Sun Systems, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent issues on call.
• Team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
