IT Sales Account Manager

Job Brief:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented IT Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving sales of our IT products and services in the domain of public and private sectors. Shall work closely with clients to maintain and enhance relationships, build new ones across client’s departments, enhance existing opportunities and create new ones, increase sales by upselling and cross-selling within the client domains.
IT Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with existing clients across public and private sectors to understand their IT needs, challenges, and long-term goals.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with client contacts across various departments, fostering open communication and loyalty.
- Proactively manage and develop strategic client relationships.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing service agreements and contracts within existing client organizations.
- Leverage client understanding to propose upselling and cross-selling solutions that deliver additional value and increase sales.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities within the client's domain and develop strategies to convert them into sales.
- Work closely with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the company's IT products and services.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues efficiently to maintain positive relationships and maximize client retention.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver on client needs and achieve shared goals.
IT Account Manager Requirements and Skills:
· 2 – 4 years of experience must be in IT Sales.
· Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
· Strong understanding of account management and CRM practices.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of organization.
· Skilled in creating and delivering customized presentations tailored to specific audience needs.
· Strong relationship management skills and a willingness to learn and receive feedback.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Sales, Business administration, or a related field (preferred).
