IT Operations Senior Specialist

Job Description

The IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT Operations. The role requires strong familiarity with IT fields, using ERP systems, financial processes, audits, and IT performance monitoring, and IT reporting, ensuring smooth business operations and compliance with organizational standards. Also, the IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting IT platforms and applications at the operational level.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for platforms and applications to ensure seamless operations.
• IT Asset management: register, track, and retire IT assets.
• Track and analyze performance metrics and KPIs to support business objectives: Monitor and report IT performance KPIs.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external IT audit requirements.
• IT budget preparation and control: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the department’s annual budget.
• Manage IT procurement and invoicing: Submit and track Purchase Requisition and vendor invoices.
• IT vendor management: support vendor registration and vendor relationship management
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for management review.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or Management Information system, or a similar qualification.
• 4-6 years of experience in IT operations, ERP, or business systems support.
• Familiarity with financial workflows (PR, PO) and budgeting processes.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Accuracy and details oriented.
