About the role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement of all IT equipment (TVs, tablets, speakers, cameras, microphones, Windows TVs).
- Negotiate contracts, secure best pricing, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Tag and maintain detailed inventory mapping (serial → room → campus).
- Manage warehouse operations and ensure accurate, auditable stock levels.
- Oversee the delivery logistics of IT assets to schools.
- Support hardware setup in schools:
- Install cameras, microphones, speakers, and Windows TVs.
- Ensure TVs have the latest Windows OS and Chrome installed.
- Coordinate with Facility and Delivery teams to establish temporary labs for special sessions (e.g., GenAI for MCIT):
- Prepare TV, speaker, and camera setups.
- Initialize and update tablets with the latest Noon apps and logins.
- After each lab or event, ensure all hardware is collected, logged, and returned to inventory.
Requirement:
- 3–5 yrs experience in IT procurement, operations, or infrastructure setup.
- Strong negotiation and contract-management skills.
- Familiarity with hardware installation, tagging, and inventory tools.
- Excellent organization and documentation discipline.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple campuses and teams.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Hardware installation in schools (cameras, speakers, mics, Windows TVs).
- Ensure all devices run latest Windows and Chrome.
- Set up and maintain temporary labs in partnership with Facility + Delivery teams.
- Track and return all assets to inventory after events.
