IT Governance & Enterprise Architecture Director

Our Client: A leading FMCG conglomerate in Jeddah is seeking an IT Governance & Enterprise Architecture Director.

Your Role: You will align IT strategies with business goals, ensuring robust governance and effective enterprise architecture. Reporting to the CIO, you will drive transformational initiatives and foster collaboration across the organization. Key responsibilities include strategic alignment, IT governance, demand management, and vendor management. You will develop technology blueprints, oversee IT projects, and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Alignment: Translate organizational strategy into actionable IT initiatives, maintain a holistic IT enterprise vision, and evaluate emerging technology trends.
• IT Governance: Implement best practices, oversee budgeting, billing, reporting, and control activities for IT projects.
• Demand Management: Lead demand management, align IT priorities with organizational needs, and participate in strategic IT committees.
• Enterprise Architecture: Develop and define technology architectural direction, create and maintain target state blueprints, and oversee transformational technology initiatives.
• Vendor Management: Facilitate sourcing options, manage vendors, and provide commercial support during contract negotiations.

Must Have: A seasoned IT leadership background with over 20+ years of experience, as demonstrated by the following career highlights:

• 12+ years in IT governance and enterprise architecture.
• Proven expertise in IT strategy, governance, and leading large-scale IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and IT governance (e.g., COBIT).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Certifications in EA frameworks or IT governance are highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
