Key Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and manage risks associated with HALA’s IT systems and processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management practices.
- Develop, maintain, and update IT risk registers and mitigation plans, tracking and reporting on risk remediation activities.
- Assist in conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Risk Assessments to evaluate potential IT-related disruptions.
- Prepare, review, and test business continuity and IT disaster recovery plans, ensuring their effectiveness and compliance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate and facilitate BCM training and awareness programs, emphasizing IT continuity and resilience.
- Monitor and report on IT-related business continuity incidents and response effectiveness, implementing improvements based on findings.
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams to ensure continuous alignment of BCM and IT risk strategies with HALA’s overall business objectives.
- Conduct BIA/Risk assessments of our Business Continuity Plan and Management.
- Take ownership of lessons learned and follow up on improvements.
- Represent HALA during regulatory inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT risk management, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, or similar roles within fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, IT security standards, and BCM methodologies (ISO 22301, ISO 27001).
- Hands-on experience in conducting risk assessments, Business Impact Analyses (BIA), and drafting continuity and recovery plans.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, cloud infrastructure, data backup solutions, and incident management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and risk management software.
