The Irrigation Facilities Manager will oversee the operations and maintenance of irrigation systems within the Green Riyadh Project. This role involves ensuring the efficient and sustainable management of water resources, maintaining irrigation infrastructure, and leading a team of professionals to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for irrigation systems.
• Monitor and manage water usage to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation equipment.
• Coordinate with landscape architects and other stakeholders to ensure optimal irrigation practices.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of irrigation systems.
• Manage a team of technicians and support staff.
• Prepare and manage budgets for irrigation operations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to staff.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a relevant field (e.g., Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture) from a recognized university with over 7 years of experience in irrigation management.
• OR
• Master's degree (MSc) in a relevant field from a recognized university with over 3 years of experience in irrigation management.
• Experience:
• Extensive experience in the maintenance management of irrigation systems serving landscaped areas, including lawns, trees, shrubs, and groundcovers in sizeable sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale irrigation projects.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, water management, and sustainable practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the latest irrigation technologies and practices.
• Experience in the Middle East region, particularly in large urban projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
