During your tenure as an Intern in Tax, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Develops knowledge of Income Tax rules and regulations and their associated processes to formulate solutions for client problems.
  • Assist in preparing corporate tax returns, and other tax-related documentation.
  • Conduct research on tax laws, international tax treaties, and regulatory updates.
  • Help in preparing tax computations, reconciliations, and related reports.
  • Collaborate with senior tax professionals in analyzing financial statements for tax implications.
  • Assist in responding to tax authorities’ audits.
  • Support in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with firm policies and local tax regulations.
  • Conducts research on tax regimes in local and other tax jurisdictions in which clients operate.
  • Researches and prepares draft client reports under the guidance of senior staff and project management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
  • Basic understanding of taxation principles, financial statements, and accounting concepts
  • Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
