Role Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the Communications team in executing day-to-day tasks including research, content creation, media relations, reporting, and administrative duties. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced communications environment, contributing to both internal and external projects under the guidance of the Account Director.

Responsibilities

  • Organize bi-weekly meetings between clients and APCO’s mid to senior-level employees
  • Take minutes during meetings and share accurate, detailed reports with relevant stakeholders
  • Draft basic content pieces for public relations and social media platforms
  • Conduct research to support client projects and internal initiatives
  • Manage routine email and telephone communications with clients independently
  • Assist in preparing media coverage reports, weekly updates, and monthly summaries
  • Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for internal and client use
  • Complete ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Account Director

Requirements

  • Hold or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrate strong writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Show initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be available for a full-time internship
  • Communicate fluently in both Arabic and English
  • Exhibit competencies in:
