Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate Engineer - Project Controls - Saudi National, to join our team! In this role you will get to work within a new PMO working on major highways / infrastructure projects in the KSA Capital, Riyadh City.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the project controls team in monitoring progress, budgets, schedules, and deliverables across multiple infrastructure packages.
  • Assist in the review of engineering documents, scopes of work, and project execution plans, ensuring compliance with client requirements and program standards.
  • Coordinate with PMO staff, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and contractual issues, escalating where necessary to maintain program momentum.
  • Contribute to program-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and well-structured for senior management and client use.
  • Participate in technical and progress meetings, capturing key decisions and following up on action items.
  • Identify problems early, propose practical solutions, and take initiative to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Support compliance with codes, standards, QA/QC policies, and performance benchmarks, assisting senior engineers in maintaining overall quality.
  • Provide reliable support across multiple functions of the PMO, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports, data analyses, and presentations to ensure clear communication of project status and challenges.


What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred, but not mandatory).
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure or large-scale projects, ideally within a PMO/PMC or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of Primavera P6, Power BI, and reporting systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated initiative, diligence, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing actively as a team player.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Saudi Nationals only.
