Interface Manager

Job Purpose:

The Interface Manager is responsible for defining, coordinating, and managing all technical and schedule interfaces between infrastructure works and vertical developments (e.g., housing units). The role ensures seamless coordination among developers, contractors, and government entities to achieve timely and integrated project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, document, and manage interface points between infrastructure and vertical development activities.

• Develop and implement Interface Management Plans aligned with project phasing, milestones, and handover schedules.

• Coordinate with developers to ensure timely access to serviced plots and synchronization with utility readiness.

• Act as the central liaison for all utility and service providers (water, electricity, sewage, telecom) to ensure project alignment.

• Lead weekly interface and coordination meetings with developers, contractors, and authorities to resolve conflicts and maintain progress.

• Identify and monitor interface risks , developing mitigation plans in coordination with project controls and planning teams.

• Facilitate approvals and permits by maintaining active communication with municipalities and regulatory agencies.

• Maintain and update interface registers , ensuring all drawings, data, and approvals are exchanged promptly between stakeholders.

• Escalate unresolved technical or schedule conflicts to senior management with proposed solutions and action plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use development projects.

• Proven experience managing interfaces between infrastructure and building works .

• Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination .

• Excellent communication and leadership skills in a multi-stakeholder environment .

• Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera P6, and document management systems.
